Q. I am having Sound Problems?
A. If you can't hear audio coming out of your speakers first make sure the
speaker wire is connected properly to the BodhiBox. There are 3 ways to get audio coming out of the Bodhibox.
- Connect through HDMI. Make sure you connect the HDMI wire directly to the video card to achieve audio and video.
- Connect through optical output.
- Connect through audio jacks. Connect the speaker wire to the green colored socket on the back of the BodhiBox.
If you still cant hear audio then check Windows 7 Sound Properties
- Click on the Windows 7 logo on the bottom left.
- Click on Control Panel
- Click on Sound
- On the Playback Screen make sure the proper audio device is listed. As
default this is set to <video card audio via HDMI>. If you are using Optical to get audio then make sure the <motherboard soundcard name> is selected w/digital audio>. If you are using a normal speaker connection then make sure the <motherboard soundcard name> is selected.
- Click on OK
- If
you still can't hear audio then try reinstalling the Motherboard or
Video card drivers (depending on which audio you are using) found on your System Restore disk.
If you are still having audio problems then contact BodhiBoxes Customer Support.
